Berlin-based She Knows are one of the latest ensembles to pick up the baton of girl-fronted pop bandhood. The She in the band’s name is Teresa Tomás (vocals and lyrics), a Spanish expat who in 2014 teamed up with her friends Anand Thadani (guitars and back vocals), Marcel Dadalto (guitars, drum machine and synths), Kilian Frank (bass and lyrics) to form the band.

Teresa works her smooth yet earthy vocals over the pulsing, atmospheric electronic pop the band is developing, a musical concoction that nods to the hybrid art pop of the 80’s and 90’s, although it is by no means a retro band. Its musical vision is firmly pitched in the present and its possibilities. She Knows have played at some well known clubs in Berlin, such as about:blank, Rummelsbucht and Kater Blau to name a few.

This is the band's self-titled debut EP. Its tracks signal a slicker, layered sound that takes the listener to aural landscapes through a range of moods conjured up by Teresa’s luring vocals that hit the instrumental base like shadow projections.
